I’m planning to release my first book in the US and have started looking into distribution options. What should authors compare when researching book distributors in usa​ especially when it comes to bookstore access, returns, shipping, and royalty payments? How do you know which terms are reasonable for a new author? I’d really value honest experiences, including problems authors discovered only after signing agreements.
