Plaintiff’s Employment And Civil Rights Law Firm Seeks Remote Intake Attorney – Part or Full Time Available

This is a Fully Remote position. Client meetings will be conducted via Zoom, and all dictation and preparation of intake paperwork will be prepared by you, in a home office, and sent to the firm.

If taken as a Part-Time position, we anticipate 25-30 hours or so per week of work, though this might vary from week to week. The structure of those hours can be discussed with you to suit your schedule.

If taken as a Full-Time position, we anticipate 45 hours per week. Some flexibility is available in terms of when those hours are served.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience specific to New Jersey civil litigation including, but not limited to: client communication, motion work, discovery work, deposition work, client intake work, trial preparation, etc. The experience may be either for the plaintiff or defense and may be in any area of civil litigation, including, but not limited to: employment, civil rights, personal injury, commercial litigation, consumer litigation, etc. Submissions lacking this experience cannot be considered, as we consider this experience critical in the issue spotting and analytical aspects of this position.

The requirements for consideration, beyond a clear commitment to the plaintiff's civil litigation, are:

• Excellent multi-tasking and organization skills (fidelity to deadlines, ability to prioritize and manage tasks, ability to work without micromanagement);

• 2-3 years of previous practical, hands-on experience in New Jersey relating to civil litigation;

• Excellent writing and research skills (relevant writing sample preferred);

• References that can substantiate the above.

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS: Dependent upon hours; hourly rate based on experience. For the Part-Time position, starting salary range is $27,500 - $35,000 , depending upon relevant experience. For the Full-Time position, starting salary range is $57,500 - $65,000 , depending upon relevant experience.
