Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst to help lead an operational/organization transformation effort with an agency under DHS. This individual will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders and user communities to gather and define requirements, prepare client briefing materials, and assist with the delivering strategy implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, experience consulting with federal customers, and be able to drive stakeholder meetings and engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of requirements, including facilitation of working sessions with user community.
• Develop executive-level briefings and other strategic communication materials to engage stakeholders.
• Draft language for acquisition documents and support reviews of content and formatting.
• Create messaging for audiences throughout funding request cycle, ensuring messages are clear and data-driven.
• Attending stakeholder meetings to capture requirements and refine documentation the team is putting forward.
• Develop client briefings, prepare acquisition documents, and narrative materials.
• Work with stakeholders and user community to develop operation requirements.
• Assist with creating and managing/tracking project deliverables, timelines, and scheduling client engagements.

Skills and Requirements:

• An CBP BI, or be reciprocity eligible i.e., active DHS PT/Secret and above, or DOD TS and above.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field as well as:
• 10+YOE as a Business Analyst or related role.
• Experience in requirements gathering, developing user stories, and creating stakeholder briefings.
• Strong writing skills and ability to author narrative materials, briefing documents, and assist with strategic communications plans.
• Experience in developing data driven messaging and/or using data to inform business strategy.
