Location: This position involves travel within Virginia, including Radford, Christiansburg, Wytheville, and Lebanon. Job Summary : Install, maintain, and repair cable systems for residential and commercial clients using coaxial, fiber‑optic, and Ethernet cables to deliver internet, television, and telephone services. Candidates should have at least two years of experience and be comfortable working from ladders up to 28 feet. Responsibilities Run, install, and terminate cables. Troubleshoot and test signal strength. Ensure proper installation of networking equipment such as routers and modems. Document installations accurately. Use specialized tools and basic math skills. Maintain safety standards while working at heights. Travel to jobsites as required. Communicate professionally with customers. Pass pre‑employment screenings, including background, motor‑vehicle, and drug tests. Provide a valid driver’s license. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of cable installation experience. Ability to work from a ladder up to 28 feet. Physical stamina for heights and confined spaces. Effective communication skills. Valid driver’s license. Physical Demands Lifting up to 75 pounds and using a 28‑foot extension ladder. Working at heights of up to 28 feet. Frequent kneeling, bending, and reaching.
