Experience translating a wide array of medical related documents preferred Required Skills/Knowledge Bilingual capability and certified in Spanish Language Translation Functional Accountabilities Promotes Appropriate Utilization of Translation Services by Staff Educates staff in the process of how to appropriately request translation services Maintains communication at all times with internal and external customers regarding progress, deliverables, delays, etc. Works closely with other departments providing recommendations Uses resources efficiently in order to maximize productivity and maintain costs low Collaborates with the Manager of Patient and Family Education to streamline process Contributes to a Well-Organized Program Translates requests in a timely fashion to meet requestor needs and deadlines Maintains required logs/tracking system in order to track project progress and productivity Maintains translation statistics and performs analysis of program utilization and other metrics Coordinates distribution of assignment based on program needs Efficiently utilizes tools available to provide translations of the highest quality Manages own time to be productive Maintains archives and databases related to translation projects Performance Improvement / Problem Solving Identifies opportunities to improve clinical and administrative processes Identifies and resolves issues, overcoming challenges Makes appropriate decisions, using sound judgment Teamwork/Communication Partners with all team members to achieve goals Works effectively with diverse groups Demonstrates accountability for work Shares and seeks knowledge and provides feedback to others Receptive to others' ideas and opinions #J-18808-Ljbffr Children's National Medical Center
