Research Associate I Pay: $50K-60K DOE ( not including bonuses! ) Schedule: M-F normal business hours Essential functions Participate in tissue based (IHC) projects through assay development, validation, and execution in a timely manner. Perform assays using Ficoll process according to SOPs. Familiar with IF /IHC / tissue staining. Set up instrumentation and run calibration & samples. Run quality control samples; Run clinical samples and generate data. Maintain a stock of all needed reagents and consumables. Perform daily, weekly, monthly instrument maintenance and trouble-shooting as required. You will work with scientists to carry out qualification of assay for new project. You will need to work with QA to perform good documentation, and to ensure the lab operating under CLIA, GLP and GCP standard. You will assist lab manager in training new personnel on project related assay, daily lab work and SOP procedure. You may need to complete freezer transfers, generate reports document the transfer, and coordinate with QC and entry of new locations into the BSI. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Master's OR Bachelor’s Degree (Histo-technology, Life Sciences, Biology, or other related discipline).
