Concept Plus is seeking a Computer Engineer to provide entry-level engineering and technical support for a federal client. This position supports the sustainment and modernization of client information systems, under the direction of senior engineers and project manager.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and integration of hardware and software solutions for DoD clinical information systems.
• Support system troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization activities.
• Contribute to technical documentation, including system specifications and user guides.
• Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with client security, privacy, and data protection requirements.
• Participate in training, release management, and reporting activities as directed by senior staff.
• Maintain awareness of current client engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• Active Secret Government Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science
• Must have, or be working towards achieving within 18 months Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) certification
• Preferred: Three (3) years of technical experience in support of Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management, to include:
• Systems/Equipment Support
• Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR requirements.
• One (1) year of technical experience in support of Information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects.
• Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
