Sheet Metal Installer at Sunstate Mechanical Services Shift: 8am-4:30pm (Hours vary based on job site)  Location: Job sites are all throughout the Phoenix Valley area  Requirements: You  must be 18 years old. You  must be eligible to work in the U.S You must be able to pass a drug test. You  must be able to pass a motor vehicle history check. For safety reasons, you  must  be able to speak English. You  must have your own tool kit. A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required. Able to lift up to 30lbs. Job Duties: As you might expect, technical work and customer service is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be: Fabricate and assemble metal structures based on blueprints and specifications  Retrofit sheet metal components Operate various tools and machinery such as forklift, Cleat formers, Bar Folders, Shears, Roll Former, Band Saw, Rotary Machine, Flangers, notchers etc, Welders etc Must have basic understanding of HVAC items that need to be built. Install, Alter, Fabrication, and Repair Sheet Metal Products, Equipment Ducts, and Hoods for HVAC Systems Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal components Responsible for teaching apprentices.
