Overview The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform offers online Conversational Spanish for Adults tutoring. You’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from home. Responsibilities Provide online one-on-one or small-group Conversational Spanish instruction to adult learners. Plan and deliver lessons aligned to student goals and proficiency levels. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Maintain a consistent tutoring schedule and communicate with students as needed. Use the Live Learning Platform tools to conduct sessions remotely. What We Look For In a Tutor Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style. Expertise in Conversational Spanish for adults and ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred. Compensation and Benefits Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour for repeat students. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. We handle logistics and payments; you invoice for your sessions.
