Job Description

Bring your CT skills to a great place to train, work, and grow! This is also the perfect opportunity for you if you are a Licensed Rad Tech interested in pursuing CT Cert. Our team provides in-house training. Plus, you get night and weekend differential pay!

Pay based on experience.

+ $3/hr night differential

+ $3/hr weekend differential pay

Schedule: Weekend only - Fri-Sun, 7p-7a

Experience Qualifications

1 year CT Experience. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Radiography - ARRT Required
Licensed Radiology Technologist (LRT) - KSBHA Required
Advanced Registry in CT is preferred.
Basic Life Support - BLS Required within 90 days of hire.

Summary of what you will do

Perform diagnostic computed tomography procedures utilizing a pressure injector and administering contrast under supervision.
Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic computed tomography procedures. Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician.
Determines exposure factors on basis of height, weight, portion of body involved, and degree of penetration required, and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Assists radiologist in examinations.
Measures and mixes contrast media for oral consumption.
Processes images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.
Performs venipuncture for injections
Call is a requirement of this position.
