Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced individual to oversee our fulfillment, inventory management, and compliance operations across multiple-state markets. This role is critical to ensuring efficient order processing, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence as we continue to scale our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain logistics, team management, and cannabis industry compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Fulfillment Oversight & Logistics

• Lead and manage fulfillment team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery
• Coordinate fulfillment logistics across multiple channels and state markets
• Optimize fulfillment processes and identify opportunities for operational improvements
• Evaluate and optimize software integrations between Bushel 44, METRC, UPS, QuickBooks and ShipStation
• Generate reports on shipment accuracy, turnaround times, and cost efficiencies
• Research and negotiate shipping options to optimize costs and delivery timeframes
• Reduce operational costs through strategic sourcing of packaging materials and supplies

Inventory Control & Management

• Oversee all inventory activities ensuring product availability and accurate stock levels
• Manage intake of raw materials with proper labeling, storage, and organizational systems
• Input production batches into Bushel 44 and coordinate product releases
• Ensure all necessary testing requirements are completed before product release to market
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and weekly physical audits against METRC and Bushel 44
• Maintain organized and compliant inventory storage systems
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to optimize operations
• Provide regular inventory reporting to senior leadership

Multi-State Compliance Management

• Oversee testing and Certificate of Compliance (COC) submissions across all markets
• Ensure compliance with state regulations in Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Oregon
• Manage OLCC sampling events and coordinate external testing submissions
• Oversee METRC activities including tagging, transfer manifests, and external transfers
• Coordinate with various testing laboratories and compliance partners
• Maintain current knowledge of evolving cannabis regulations across operating states

Financial & Administrative Leadership

• Manage check/cash logs and oversee proper deposit procedures
• Support ISO/GMP compliance requirements and documentation control
• Facilitate document revisions, master list control, and records management
• Assist with administrative tasks including data entry and regulatory filing

Performance Metrics & Accountability

• Inventory Accuracy: Maintain 99%+ accuracy in product tracking and storage
• Fulfillment Performance: Achieve target turnaround times and on-time delivery rates
• Cost Management: Optimize shipping, packaging, and operational costs
• Compliance: Maintain 100% regulatory compliance across all operating states
• Data Integrity: Ensure accurate records in METRC, Bushel 44, and financial systems

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inventory management, fulfillment, or supply chain logistics
• Demonstrated experience with METRC and cannabis industry compliance regulations
• Proficiency with inventory management systems, preferably Bushel 44 and ShipStation
• Proven team management and leadership experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with process optimization experience
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new software platforms
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years in a management role overseeing inventory management, fulfillment, or supply chain logistics
• Experience managing at a multi-state cannabis operations
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/GMP standards
• Experience with 3PL coordination and vendor management
• Financial management or budgeting experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Regular light lifting with occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Moderate hand-eye coordination required
• Exposure to varying temperature conditions and standard warehouse environment
• May be exposed to typical workplace hazards associated with manufacturing/distribution facilities
