TITLE: Full-Stack Web Developer

LOCATION: Northern Virginia

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site

POSITION SUMMARY

Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to design and develop modern, secure, and user-focused web applications that support critical federal missions in classified environments. In this role, you will build both front-end interfaces and back-end services that enhance usability, streamline complex workflows, and improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with UX designers and data engineers to deliver intuitive, high-performance tools that drive mission success.

RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):

• Design and develop secure web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and backend tools like Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with UX designers to enhance functionality, accessibility, and user experience across classified environments.
• Integrate front-end interfaces with backend services and data pipelines using secure, scalable APIs.
• Optimize application performance for speed and reliability, particularly in constrained or secure environments.
• Support classified development workflows, including adherence to ATO processes and security requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • DoD polygraph preferred.
• Accepting all levels of experience.
• Proficient in front-end technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in secure coding practices.
• Skilled in backend frameworks to support full-stack application development.
• Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar for collaborative interface development.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and Agile development methodologies.
