Responsibilities

• Oversee custodial staff, create work schedules, and monitor cleanliness and facility upkeep.
• Perform custodial and minor maintenance duties, including cleaning, landscaping, floor stripping/waxing, lighting/ceiling tile replacement, minor repairs, and securing the building.
• Conduct regular safety and security inspections and respond to maintenance requests.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
• Set up facilities for events and assist with furniture movement as needed.
• Maintain outdoor areas and groundskeeping tasks.
• Keep records, prepare reports, and conduct inspections.
• Anticipate tasks based on schedules and procedures.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance custodial operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a head custodian or supervisor preferred.
