Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavators and Earth Removal Equipment)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other earth removal equipment to perform various tasks such as digging, trenching, and grading. The operator will ensure that all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform tasks such as digging, trenching, backfilling, and grading.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and regular maintenance on equipment.
• Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate and precise work.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating excavators and earth removal equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
