District Manager – Central Iowa

The District Manager (DM) leads multiple Taco John's restaurants within Central Iowa. As a DM, you'll oversee the financial success of your district, provide leadership to General Managers, ensure operational excellence, and uphold Taco John's commitment to quality, hospitality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong business acumen, people management skills, and the ability to drive results across several locations.

Annual Salary up to $85,000 including period bonuses.

Job location: Central Iowa

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurants
• Recruit, train, and develop General Managers and Assistant Managers
• Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
• Drive sales and profitability by managing budgets for food, labor, and controllable costs
• Analyze financial and operational reports to identify improvement opportunities
• Foster a culture of hospitality and customer service excellence
• Partner with leadership team to implement company initiatives and training programs

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Previous multi-unit management experience in QSR or hospitality required
• Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team development
• Reliable, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
