Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) is seeking to expand its list of on-call interpreters and translators to support our legal teams and better serve the diverse communities of Greater Boston. We are especially in need of professionals who are available for in-person interpretation services. Languages of Need: Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Simplified Chinese, Amharic, Arabic, Moroccan Arabic, Khmer, Cantonese, Mandarin, Toisanese, Vietnamese, French, Dari, Pashto, Fulani, Luganda, and Spanish. Other languages are welcome to apply! Work Type: In-person interpretation (on-call) Paid by invoice Standard Rates:

50/hour for in-person interpretation
55/hour for written translation

Interpreters with qualifying credentials are eligible for increased pay:

65/hour for certified in-person interpretation
70/hour for certified written translation

A certificate from an accredited academic institution, or Proof of court certification Note: Certifications from private language businesses or corporations do not qualify.
