Position Summary:

This is a full-time role for an Investor Relations Associate, located in Austin, Texas. The Investor Relations Associate will support all aspects of fundraising and investor relations functions. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and thrive in an ever-changing entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of our investor relations including fundraising, reporting, investor support and inquiries, presentations & events, marketing, and engagement with investors.
  • Maintain processes and procedures of Juniper Square (Investor Portal).
  • Assist our investor base with all current and future investment offerings managed by the company in coordination with the real estate deal teams.
  • Deliver efficient and prompt resolution to various customer inquiries via email and phone.
  • Use Investor Portal software to track and maintain records for all current investors and investments.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management software to track and maintain records for prospective investors and offerings.
  • Create and manage cash call and distribution communications, timely and accurately with investors in coordination with the real estate deal teams.
  • Focus on enhancing customer relationships and building trust.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in an active workplace and follow through on matters in a timely manner.
  • Manage the coordination and production of quarterly investor reports in coordination with the real estate deal teams.
  • Interact with our Finance, Development, Accounting, and other departments.
  • Follow up both internally and externally for timely resolution of all requests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and timely responses both internally and externally.
  • Maintain exceptional records for all internal and external communications, legal documentation, etc.
  • Support all aspects of our investor relations.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS, BA or BBA in Finance or Accounting, or Communications with additional business classes taken.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience (full time and internships), ideally with Investor Relations, Real Estate, or Accounting.
  • Knowledge of and experience in business, finance, investments and client services, commercial real estate industry experience a plus .
  • Working knowledge of Juniper Square or other investment management software is a plus .
  • Highly proficient with O365 products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Self-starter and proactive independent worker who is not hesitant to ask for direction when needed.
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and effectively (written, verbal, and in presentation situations) with all levels of management and investors.
  • Able to perform under deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a professional demeanor.
  • Resourceful problem solving.
  • Ability to work with varying personalities and all levels of leadership.
  • Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for excellence.
  • Understand basic finance and accounting principles.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
