*About the Role:*
As Journeyman Electrician, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential and light commercial electrical systems. We focus on precision, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in every project. You’ll work in residential new construction projects and service across the local area.
*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings.
* Understanding of state and local electrical code and its practical application in design and installation of electrical systems.
* Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks such as wiring, circuit installation, and troubleshooting.
* Ability to work new construction, remodels, and service.
* Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and voltmeter to ensure proper system functionality.
* Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency or meet new standards.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople during construction projects.
* Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work.
*What You’ll Bring:*
* *Licensing*: Licensed in Minnesota as a Journeyman Electrician.
* *Proven Experience*: Solid background in the electrical trade, ideally in the residential new construction sector, with an understanding of the unique demands of this field.
* *Technical Skills*: Strong mechanical aptitude, with deep knowledge of electrical systems and proficiency in diagnostics and troubleshooting.
* *Blueprint & Code Knowledge*: Ability to read blueprints and understand local building codes related to wiring and electrical system installations, ensuring code compliance and safety.
* *Tools & Equipment Familiarity*: Skilled in the safe use of tools and equipment of the trade, maintaining a keen eye for detail and precision in every task.
* *Problem-Solving & Communication*: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients, maintaining professionalism and respect.
* *Driving & Clean Record*: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for safe and reliable service delivery.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
