Position Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Wage: $17.50 - $24.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:00pm - 12:30am (Monday - Thursday)

Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor packaging equipment to meet daily production goals and quality standards
- Support production with materials, product testing and equipment adjustments to maintain efficient operations
- Communicate effectively with team members and respond quickly to potential product issues or equipment concerns
- Perform roll changes and accurately document traceability information
- Complete daily documentation, including downtime tracking, quality checks and production reporting
- Independently complete assigned machine set-up tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Meet or exceed equipment and production targets while helping to identify and correct process inefficiencies
- Proactively report equipment malfunctions and communicate the need for repairs, spare parts or service

Requirements for Machine Operator:
- Able to lift up to 90lbs
- Proficient in basic high school-level math
- Able to read and write in English
- Understand and work with both standard and metric measurements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment operations
