Our company is seeking a skilled Mold Maintenance Technician. The Mold Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of molds used in the manufacturing process. This role requires a strong mechanical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot mold-related issues.

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular maintenance on molds, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection for wear and damage.
2. Identify mold-related issues such as part defects, sticking, or flashing, and perform necessary repair work.
3. Disassemble and reassemble molds for cleaning, repair, or modification purposes.
4. Collaborate with the production team to ensure molds are set up correctly and functioning properly.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and document repair, modification, and preventive maintenance tasks.
6. Participate in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
7. Coordinate with external mold suppliers or contractors for complex repair or modification tasks.
8. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in mold maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical understanding and knowledge of mold structure and operation.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge of mold materials, coatings, and maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• CAD certification preferred.
