The SAP Basis Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex SAP and integrated technology landscapes. This role combines deep SAP expertise with strategic architecture leadership to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability across enterprise systems. You will play a key role in shaping on-premises and cloud-based SAP solutions, enabling digital transformation, process optimization, and system integration across business operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end technical architecture for SAP and related systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP EAM, SAP BTP, SAP Field Service Management, and mobile or cloud integrations. Ensure system designs align with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and operational best practices. Lead and mentor technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that support evolving business needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leadership to define technology roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and plan future enhancements. Drive system performance improvements, upgrades, migrations, and technical integrations between SAP and non-SAP platforms. Develop and maintain architectural artifacts, standards, and documentation to support governance and consistency across solutions. Partner with vendors and consultants to evaluate new technologies and manage technical implementations. Provide technical oversight during project execution, ensuring alignment between design, configuration, and deployment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture, administration, or technical leadership. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA administration, SAP Basis, SAP BTP, and related cloud platforms. Strong background in system upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and integration with non-SAP systems. At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Experience with multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations. Solid understanding of SAP domains such as EAM, ERP, CRM, Security, PI/PO, and GIS. Hands‑on experience with Fiori, OData, and SAP integration tools. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills Professional certification in SAP or related technology areas. Experience with mobile and cloud‑based SAP solutions (e.g., Azure, FSM, SSAM, BTP, Snowflake). Knowledge of enterprise asset management, field automation, or large‑scale system integrations. Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and functional specifications.
