Primary Details Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: Employee The Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to underwrite new business and renewals within specified guidelines and authority levels, supporting the development of a profitable Cyber insurance class. This involves implementing underwriting strategies, building relationships, and making sound decisions to drive business growth and profitability within assigned territories. The role plays a critical part in achieving overall profitability and success in the Cyber underwriting business. Location: Chicago, IL - MN, Remote - IN, Remote - MI, Remote Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week The salary range for this role is between $75,000 - $123,500 Your new role Manage underwriting activities across multiple distribution channels. Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders. Assist in product development, innovation, and testing. Participate in relevant meetings to share and develop strategy, knowledge, and best practices. Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes, recommending changes to company policies and procedures where appropriate. Establish and promote the company image with key clients. Evaluate risk for new business and renewals to ensure profitable growth. Adhere to underwriting standards, instructions, and good practice to minimize risks and maximize efficiency. Contribute to the development and implementation of channel strategic plans. Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, internal audit, and other governance and compliance requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience.
