Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available for the current school year, designed for a dedicated professional mitted to supporting students with diverse learning needs. This contract role is based in Mentor, OH, and focuses on creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and achievement for students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success and inclusion.
• Utilize various instructional strategies and assistive technologies to engage students effectively.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching plans as necessary.
• Maintain clear munication with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with students in K-12 settings, preferably in diverse or inclusive classrooms.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design differentiated instruction and conduct assessments.
