POSITION OVERVIEW
The Compliance Manager/CRA Officer oversees the Corporate Compliance and CRA Programs, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and CRA activities within the organization. The position ensures the Board of Directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed.
The Compliance Manager/CRA Officer chairs the Management Compliance Committee and is responsible for monitoring and reporting results of the compliance efforts of the company and providing guidance for the Board and senior management team on matters relating to compliance. The Compliance Manager, is authorized to implement all necessary actions to ensure achievement of the objectives of an effective compliance program.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develops, implement and monitor the maintenance of a Compliance Program designed to ensure that each business units of the Bank achieves and maintains compliance with all applicable State and Federal banking laws and regulations.
· Provides supporting information, interpretations, clarifications, and advice to senior management, to assist them in making decisions to ensure that the bank is in compliance. Disseminate information regarding new or amended regulations to appropriate personnel.
· Establish, review, and monitor Bank’s system of internal controls for ensuring bank-wide compliance.
· Participates in various committees, audits, and examinations
· Participate in product development and changes. Act as advisor on regulatory compliance requirements.
· Act as an information source to management, lending officers, operations personnel, customer contact personnel, and other staff in relations to compliance laws and regulations.
· Attend compliance seminars and programs on an ongoing basis to make certain that the Bank is following current banking laws and regulations.
· Ensure preparation of regulatory compliance reports, as required.
· Review, prepare, and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and laws.
· Conduct branch reviews to ensure compliance with all regulatory matters on an ongoing basis.
· Manage and coordinate compliance training for Bank personnel.
· Manage overall Bank CRA program.
· Monitor policies, procedures, and practices to ensure adherence to the technical requirements applicable to CRA reporting requirements.
· Periodic review of Bank’s assessment area to ensure reasonableness of the delineation. This includes reviewing branch distribution in the Bank’s assessment area.
· Perform periodic CRA self-assessment to identify potential risk areas and report to appropriate committees.
· Ensure compliance with the CRA data collection, reporting, and disclosure requirements.
· Prepare and submit CRA data annually by the required due date of March 1st
· Comply fully with all Bank policies and procedures.

· Maintain high standards of confidentiality and security
· Must possess good computer, written and oral communication skills
· Well-organized, analytical and capable of performing multiple tasks
· Ability to prioritize and use a sound judgment is required
· Ability to time management skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year University desired or
· Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Financial Institution dealing with Compliance/BSA and/or audit experience

Annual pay ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
