Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

Location: Itinerant | Greeley, CO

Contract Dates: August 4, 2025 – May 22, 2026

Schedule: Approx. 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 35 hrs/week

Caseload: 15 students | Grades K–12

A Colorado school district is seeking a licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide itinerant support services to students across multiple school sites for the 2025–2026 school year.

This is a full-time, school-based position supporting a diverse K–12 caseload. The ideal candidate is collaborative, flexible, and passionate about supporting students with visual impairments in inclusive learning environments.

Position Details:

• Serve as an itinerant TVI across multiple schools
• Deliver direct and consultative services based on students' IEPs
• Adapt curriculum materials to meet accessibility needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families
• Support student independence, access to technology, and orientation/mobility skills (in collaboration with O&M staff as needed)

Requirements:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Education Specialist License – Visual Impairment (Ages 0–21)
• Previous experience working in K–12 settings (preferred, not required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
