Truck and Trailer Installer - 1st Shift - Otay Mesa - $23/hr

Job Description

Join our team as a Truck and Trailer Installer, where you will play a crucial role in assembling, installing, and customizing a variety of heavy-duty work truck bodies. Your work will ensure that each vehicle meets quality standards and is ready for use.

Responsibilities

• Assemble chassis and complete assembly tasks such as loading fire extinguishers and placing floor mats.
• Follow work instructions and installation directions with precision.
• Assist with final stages of installation, including washing trucks, installing accessories, and applying decals as per specifications.
• Prepare trucks for Quality Control and assist in ensuring they are complete, clean, and meet quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience with mechanical assembly and installation.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and installation directions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General labor experience and familiarity with automotive quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of chassis assembly and oil change procedures.

You will be working in a warehouse/shop environment, collaborating with a team of five other installation technicians.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
