A Warehouse Assistant for a moving company is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and preparing goods for delivery and pickup. They will also assist with loading and unloading trucks, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Processing:
• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and accuracy against shipping documents, and process them into the warehouse. 
• Storage and Organization:
• Store items in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and organization to facilitate easy retrieval. 
• Loading and Unloading:
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper packing and strapping of goods to prevent damage during transit. 
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and report any discrepancies to supervisors. 
• Order Fulfillment:
• Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment. 
• Equipment Operation:
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently, following all safety guidelines. 
• Other Duties:
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including scanning items, labeling boxes, and preparing inventory for delivery
