Wetland Ecologist – Primary Responsibilities:

  • Wetland and waterway delineation, as well as reporting and permitting.
  • Navigability and Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM) Determinations.
  • Rare species habitat assessments and presence/absence surveys.
  • Proficiency in using GPS equipment (Trimble) to collect field data.
  • Experience with computer-aided mapping software (e.g., ArcMap, Field Maps, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Work, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Create cost estimates and project scopes.

Requirements:

Wetland Ecologist – Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science or related degree from a U.S. accredited college or university (MS or PhD a plus).
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Excellent oral, written and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, positive, organized and must be able to work independently.
  • Be able to travel as projects require and be willing to work in various field situations.
  • Applicable U.S. based work experience.
