I was involved in a conversation recently about a project that started facing small issues which slowly turned into bigger challenges and someone suggested that getting Project Advisory support earlier might have helped identify risks before they became difficult to manage. I have never worked with that type of support directly so I am curious how people usually decide when outside advice is worth bringing in. For those who have experience did project advisory genuinely improve decisions and project outcomes or did the internal team end up handling most of the issues anyway?
