Any little tricks to keep the suspension happy when you don’t have covered parking?
My new apartment came with one of those rooftop spots that’s just absolutely baking from about 10am until sunset and I swear I can feel the car’s soul leaving its body every time I open the door after work so I’m starting to wonder if there’s anything I can actually do to protect suspension from dubai heat damage besides winning the lottery and moving to a place with a basement garage which isn’t happening anytime soon. I’m not expecting miracles obviously I know rubber and fluid are gonna degrade no matter what but maybe something like those sun shades for the windshield actually help keep the overall cabin and engine bay a few degrees cooler or maybe I’m just kidding myself. I saw some chatter on a random car forum and ended up on that nolcardcheck page while I was waiting for the AC to stop blowing fire at my face and it got me thinking about whether I should at least be parking with the wheels straight and avoiding full lock on the steering when I leave it to save the bushings some strain. Anyone else stuck with an outdoor spot found any little habits that seem to help or is it all just a lost cause from mid June onwards?
